Our History

Mr Edouard BRUN was born in July 1875 in a family of coopers, started his life with his father and making bottling for himself. In 1898 he founded his house of champagne in Aÿ with some friends starting a company. In 1927 Mr Edmond Lefèvre, son of wine-grower and having already some experience for having been working in a famous champagne House in Aÿ, came into the company. At that time (1928) they built the building house as it is now.

In 1939, the second world war started. Mr Lefèvre is mobilised and Mr Brun stayed alone and assured the good running of the house until 1942. When Mr Lefèvre came back, the stock was very low. Later on he could manage to have some more bottles and the house will go up with the stock.
Mr Brun died in 1952. In 1968 Mr Lefèvre turned the company into a limited company and in 1968 he retired leaving the direction to his children mr and mrs Delescot-lefevre who continued in the same tradition, making and selling 250000 bottles per year in Europe, North America, Asia.
Since 1994 Mr and Mrs Delescot are helped with their sons : Philippe is working in the vineyards and elaborate the wine. Emmanuel is in charge of the financial and commercial part of the house.
